Christmas part 1:)

As I've said in previous posts I started decorating for Christmas the day before Halloween:/ I cant help it I love the season that much. After I thought about the fact that I had my tree up for about 2 mos. I kinda felt bad for my kids... Poor little things, it probably felt like forever before the day finally came haha. What a teaser! I let the kids of course help decorate the tree with me. They lost interest pretty quick but they did really good while it lasted:) I have a 12' tree with hundreds of ornaments. I am really into my tree. Sadly I didnt take any pics of it but I will say it was really pretty:)
I love how paisley had to hang her ornaments on the light bulb and not the branch. I tried to show her but she insisted on the bulb...
This picture is so her. The determination on her face makes me laugh. She loved all of her ornaments it was really cute.

My little man really enjoyed helping me too. He was the first to start decorating and he really liked it. It was cute because you could tell where he decorated they were all in one spot.

It was so fun to decorate with my babies. They had fun too. They have quite a few ornaments themselves. Side note: My mom is an ornament nut... For as long as I can remember she has collected the hallmark ornaments which are the absolute cutest and unique ornaments you've ever seen. They talk, spin around, light up anything you can imagine. She has thousands and thousands of dollars into these ornaments. I love every year pulling my ornaments out, they are filled with sooo many memories. Mostly, what I was into that year:) The best part is now I do the same for my kids it is soo fun. Between my mom and I my kids have tons of ornaments. I have officially been bit by the ornament bug and am obsessed too:) I went for the first time to the big "debut" and when my mom and sister walked in there might as well have been a red carpet haha! It was hilarious. I look foward to having these memories with my kids it is super fun...

Halloween 2009

Halloween this year was fun! I had tried to be super prepared and actually took the kids for their costumes a few weeks in advance instead of the week of:) yay for me ha! So when talking to the kids about what they wanted to be I got from Ryder: Thomas the train (weird I know ha) My little paisley said that she wanted to be heehobew aka tinkerbell sooo cute! So off we went when we got to the store we found the thomas costume and grabbed it. I looked for "heehobew" and they pretty much stunk so I decided off the bat that I was going to keep looking for hers. Here's the funny part so were walking through the costumes again to get thomas and ryder throws it down and decides he wants to be spiderman.... huh? where did this come from? Not only did he want to be spiderman but he wanted to have a sword too. So he was spiderman with a sword. Long story short I found lil missys at the disney store it was super cute! She love it!!!

Im not gonna lie she was the CUTEST lil tinkerbell EVA!!!

Good ole spiderman! After he threw a fit because it was time to put his costume on and go trick r treating he finally got over the fact that yes, indeed he did have to wear a costume in order to get candy :) He ended up loving it and really enjoyed running from house to house. He was such a trooper and never once complained after his initial meltdown.

BOO!

We ended up having a super fun halloween! We had some good friends over I made a pot of chili the kids got lots of candy and played at our house when we got back! Yes! A little side note my tree was up on this day.... i know SO not normal:)
