The Polar Express!!!

Well we decided to take the kids to the polar express this year. Ryder is absolutely obsessed with trains so what better way to celebrate the holiday cheer while riding on a train. We went to grampees cabin in Flagstaff for the weekend and then we headed on down to Williams for the ride and to go see Santa. Paisley was having a good time so far.
This is the conductor which ryder found pretty cool! He knows all about them because he watches Thomas the train movies like they are going out of style! He was mezmorized.

So... Where's this Santa guy you've been talkin bout?

I just love the way she is looking at her big brother here. She loves him! It is so cute to finally see them interact with each other but this is pretty typical.. She thinks he's the greatest thing since sliced bread and he's like, "so when does she go back" ha. I love my little bundles!!!

We are at grampee's cabin in this picture and I think we may have picked the coldest weekend to go to Flag! It was sooo cold but beautiful at the same time. We bundled the kiddos up and headed out for a little fun in the snow. Ryder reminded me of Ralphy in the movie "the christmas story" he was miserable and then later we found out he had an ear infection, oops! Paisley was feeling it for the most part she sure looked cute... of course hee hee! We had a great time although the drive home was COMPLETELY petrifying!!!! We were stuck in a full blown blizzard fish tailed across the highway. I thought I was going to throw up because I was so scared. It was fun to have the snow to give you the full effect of the polar express but it was pretty crazy! All in all we had a fabulous time and cant wait to have this be an annual tradition :)

Ryder mans' 3rd birthday party...

Im going back a bit to my little man Ryders 3rd birthday party which was a couple weeks ago. First off I can't believe my precious boy is 3 Its a bitter sweet feeling. I love that he is learning and growing and getting smarter and cuter everyday. He says the funniest things that just make me and my hubby laugh he really is hilarious! On the other hand I am sad because my baby is growing up! Too fast! I love this little guy MORE than life!!!
This Picture was at about 7pm the end of his birthday party after his bath he was completely cooked!! He laid on the couch to read his new dora books (yes, he likes dora haha) and the next time I looked over at him he looked like this. Poor baby he played so hard at his birthday party he just couldn't hang anymore!

Presents, Presents, and more presents. Ryder is at the age where he LOVES presents it doesnt matter what it is but he loves them. We went to a wedding and at the reception if ryder disappeared we knew where to find him... the present table. He would seriously just wander around and stalk the presents soo funny! Where does he get this you ask?? Well not only is it "pretty typical" of a young child to be like this but Im going to go ahead and blame it on his daddy. He's Mr. greedy when it comes to presents. You would never guess this about Ryan but it's true, he's just as naughty as his son.

Ryder also thinks that every present needs to be associated with Thomas he doesn't get that grandma probably doesn't want a thomas the train for her birthday...

This may have been one of the biggest highlights of the whole day.... The birthday cake! I had a clown come and tie baloons and do face painting, I rented a jumpy castle with a slide in it but nothing compared to "the cake" he saw it and was so fired up. I couldn't find him and when I came in the house here he was, on the counter admiring the masterpiece. In this picture I told him to give it a kiss and he really was going for the kill. How cute is he...

Ha Ha Ha... This is Iggy, yes Iggy the clown. She really was sweet. I think the kids really ran her ragged bless her little heart. She did a great job entertaining and keeping the kids excited about face painting and balloon tying. Im sure she was so happy to get to leave this shindig ha. I probably also traumatized some of the kids that were there with poor lil Iggy. Some of the younger ones were like "peace out" to her and others loved her.

This is my sassafrass... Miss Paisley Poo. She's mad because mommy took the green marker she was so neatly coloring herself with. Isn't she cute full blown tantrum. You should have seen the rest of her she was totally green, ha gotta love it!

On a sweeter note!

standard...

This picture is from our family photoshoot this past holiday season by my fabulous friend Tami Proffitt! Okay just giving you a taste of my son ryder and what he looks like anytime a camera comes out. This is standard! So in the future you may wonder why he is NEVER smiling at the camera and that is why he has cameraphobia ( I just made up that word). He is too funny!

falling into the trap...

Okay so when I first heard about "blogging" I was like ya right who has time for that? I have a really good friend who's a photographer and she does it but thats for her business. Then everytime I turn around one of my friends has one so I decided to jump on the bandwagon and join in on the fun :) Im doing this for two reasons... 1) I am no bueno at scrapbooking and 2) I would love to use this as a journal to capture all of those fun times in our lives that we think we are going to remember and we dont! Such as my babies who are growing up so stinkin fast I can hardly stand it. So all in all this for them!
