Soooo EXCITED!!

Let me start off by saying that I LOVE a good deal! Who doesn't?! I love yard sales, craigslist (ex: paisleys bed) but Estate Sales??? YES!!! My moms best friend Lisa is one antique-ng mofo! Not only does she know SOOO much about them but she loves them, her and her husband both. She had her own antique store for years and continues to hunt down and look for the best deals! She has gone to estate sales for years and years. I always thought estate sales were when (bless their lil hearts) old peeps move on from this life (nicely put) and its all of their crap to put it bluntly! It definitely can be but..... Not always:-) So here's my story... My goal for christmas this year was to try and find a playhouse for my kids. I have been keeping my eyes peeled on craigslist for quite some time. My neice has an awesome playhouse that my crafty bro in law built and my kids, especially p LOVES it! So I was on the hunt however not hardcore.... yet! Soooo this last thursday I get a phone call from my mom. I was just getting home my hands were full and she said you have to get on the computer and look at this playhouse I said ok give me a min and I will call you right back! So I did! She told me the website to go to and that my friends is when I saw "it" The way my mom found it was: lisa had called my mom about an estate sale and wanted her to look at some stuff so my mom was just checking out some other sales when she came across this beautiful little thing! She knew I really wanted one so thats when I came in the pic:-) ha! So after I saw '"it" I of course wanted it!.... bad! My first thought was "ya right how much is this bad boy?" My second thought was "i'll never get it" Well there was a starting bid at $1,500.00 then I found out the bid was really only set at $1,000.00! People this is an $8-10,000 dollar playhouse I almost fell over!!! So I bid $1,200. The sale was to end on Saturday, I was trying really hard to not get my hopes up but I LOVED it!! Friday night I got a phone call and guess what??? I GOT IT!!! ITS MINE!!! I WON!!!! ME???? WAHOOOO! Thats pretty much my reaction I cant tell you how amazed, happy, or ecstatic I was:-) I do have to have it craned out of the back yard but then it will go onto my dads big trailer which from there it will go in the back of my parents property with a large tarp on it so my kids cant see because yes... I am soooo pulling this off for christmas morning! Phew so there you have it! I am sooo becoming an estate sale fan I could seriously become addicted they had so many fun things (if you go to the right ones) Anyway theres my deal I am so proud! haha!

Ryders 1st day of school!!!

Preschool has begun!!! Ryder was SOOO excited and so was I:) Such a different feeling from last year at this time. I felt so bad:( almost guilty. The preschool we are at is seriously AMAZING which is why I make the trek Mon, wed, Fri. I really wanted to find something closer to me this year but the thought of leaving such a wonderful place and teachers who care SO much made me so nervous! It really is worth every minute in the car and every dime spent which is not cheap ha! I love that they care so much individually about each and every student! Everyday they take the time to tell you how wonderful they did or maybe about something they struggled with. Another great thing is there is no more than 10 in a class which I LOVE! So much one on one time. Also they take the time often to call and leave messages for the kids, super cute and the kids love getting them. They get them for all sorts of reasons, for being a good listener, being a good friend, a good helper etc. They actually give exact examples of what it is they did that day that made them so happy. Its just an extra that they dont have to do but make the effort to do! Those little things are huge! I really could go on and on and on but I'll stop I will just say this... I LOVE THEM!! So much in fact that I think little P will be joining one day a week starting in September:-) YAY! I just like to add more traveling to my schedule! This year was easy for me but next year may send me into a nervous break down!! The thought of Kindergarten causes me some serious anxiety ugh!

His pic cracks me up! Um he's decided that he doesn't like his hair done anymore bc people will laugh at him:-( awww! I told him: Show me who they are let mommy take care of it haha! I haven't fought it much its really not that important just kinda sad. He went from never leaving the house without it done to never having it done! Oh well gotta pick your battles I guess!?
